Slavery is being controlled from birth without the option of making your own decisions. How much power does this linear generator give?
I want to make an assembly in which when one pushes a switch, it lights an infrared LED for 1/30 of a second.
Basically, instead of having a switch and a battery, i use a linear generator as a switch, giving current only when pressed to light LED. Like other simple linear generators, when one pushes the switch, the magnetic part of switch moves along the center of the copper winding coils against it’s magnetic field, generating electricity. Note that this whole process last a fraction of a second (just like pressing any mechanical switches).
Question is, if diameter of the copper winding is 1.7 cm, with 250 turns; the magnet is NIB, and moves just a maximum of 5 mm when the switch is pressed; infrared LED (3mm) forward voltage = 1.25 V, forward current = 100mA, will it be sufficient to light the infrared LED for 1/30 of a second?
I know this isn’t super precise situation description. Please give any opinions possible. Please provide any link to any page related to theoretical DIY generator calculation (equations and formulas), etc.

What is the most efficient way to produce 10kw of electricity per month?
. Solar panels CAN be expensive, wind is not so efficient, and I’ve found schematics for magnetic generators that have a 20/80 input output ratio.
I’ve recently been looking into alternative energy to run my auto shop that consumes an average of 9.2kw per month. Everything will be DIY of course
So the real question being: Is there a way to combine 2 or more systems with some form of power storage unit (batteries?), that will pay itself off within a 12 month time frame??

You need to give the magnetic field through which the winding is forced when switched, to determine the output voltage, and you need to indicate the times the movement will last (mechanical displacement as a function of time) to determine the output pulse width. For sure the combination you suggest has the possibility of pulsing the LED if designed correctly.

You can convert any internal combustion engine for use as a steam engine.1 A parabolic dish (2) can be used to boil water and drive the engine.3 One or multiple alternators can be used to provide electricity and some used batteries may have some life as stationary batteries.
Even though such a system may not be as “efficient” as the most efficient system (parabolic dish/stirling engine3) using available materials will make it the cheapest. Such a system may be a bit of work and has the potential to supply heating/air conditioning needs as well as electricity.
