There are basically two types of wind power generators that can be built to generate electricity. The first one is the good old windmill that we are all familiar with. The ones that made Holland so recognizable whenever we see a picture of that beautiful country.
The second is a vertical wind turbine. Its blades are perpendicular to the ground. Vertical wind turbines are quite a bit smaller and can be used in tight spaces. They are great for people that don't have a lot of room.

I live in Arkansas and have just started looking into possibly putting a turbine at my home (plenty of acreage) but it seems so unbelievably complex. Has anyone done this yet? Pointers? Cost? What’s needed and what’s not? I get price ranges from $7500 – $33,000.

Green DIY Energy Kit,?
is there any guide available online for GreenDIYenergy (Top Converting) Solar,Wind Energy Diy.

Wind power is one of the most environment friendly means to generate electricity. The time taken to set up a wind power project is very short compared to the time taken to set up a conventional thermal power plant using coal or nuclear energy. A wind farm can be set up in areas where the wind is fast enough to power a wind turbine. If wind turbines are set up in all available locations, the energy generated will exceed the world’s power requirements more details at http://altenergy.in/
You can build Solar Panels yourself, but it takes time. The Plus side is that is is much cheaper. Some claim they can be made for 200 dollars, I would say 1000, which is still VERY cheap ,
How about a pedal-power generator:

I have seen so many of these, and while they do sound good, it basically come down to a sales pitch without any concrete information other than to pitch their E-book, which doesn’t even involve printing cost.
The testimonials are alway just names without contact numbers, even the ones that say they would be happy to recommend it.
The big question is, is this your book?
and if it is not your book, have you tried it?
