Gasoline powered generating plants would be very rare. Diesel fuel or oil is what is used. The most common is light oil like home heating oil but some use what is called heavy oil. For that particular use, it is unpractical to refine to Gasoline. It is a lot cheaper to run them on the oils.
Good luck in finding one. I know we don’t have any around here. They all run on either light oil, or natural gas.
