Are You Concerned About Electro Magnetic Frequency?

Author: Kay Simmons

EMF or EMR (Electro Magnetic Radiation) is present all around us. The 21st Century has provided us with technology and labor saving devices that surround us with EMF. Much has been reported about power lines, microwaves, cell phones and computers being bad for us but most of us are unaware that everyday items in our home also pose a risk. EMF/EMR is produced by all electrical appliances so your hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, fridge, oven, washing machine, even energy saving bulbs and baby monitors will all emit EMF/EMR.

Some people are particularly prone to Electro Sensitivity due to exposure to EMF/EMR. Sometimes it only takes being exposed to one new thing, a cordless phone for example, which will trigger a reaction. You may not even know you are suffering from Electro Sensitivity, you might just feel under the weather. Symptoms vary from mild to severe headaches, nausea, insomnia, dizziness, skin rashes, fatigue, joint pains, ringing in the ears, irregular heartbeat, balance problems, and poor memory. Unfortunately, sufferers are often not taken seriously by their doctors and are sometimes fobbed off with drugs or anti depressants. Sweden is the only country that recognizes Electro Sensitivity as a medical condition even though it is a fast growing phenomenon around the world.

Insomnia is a common problem for Electro Sensitive people. Anyone who has ever suffered from insomnia knows that it affects your daily life. Lack of a good night's sleep just makes you feel worse and worse, it is not surprising that doctors sometimes prescribe anti depressants, who wouldn't be depressed if you can't sleep?

Obviously, we are not going to turn our backs on modern technology and find a desert island to live on to try to escape from EMF/EMR. We need to find a way of EMF protection. There are some products on the market that can help, like an EMF pendant that is worn around your neck, or ornaments with EMF protection that you can place around your home.

    How do you change a motor’s magnetic field if you reduce the back emf?
    Initial the back emf=95V with motor operating at 1000rpm.
    How do I changes the magnetic field to back emf of 65V with motor at 2500rpm? How can I do this question?

    If a closed loop of wire is moved in a uniform magnetic field, why is there no induced EMF?
    I thought that moving any conductor in a magnetic field (so long that it’s not parallel to the field) would cut magnetic flux and hence induce EMF.

    Thanks

    A square, single-tits plane perpendicular to a constant magnetic field. An emf of 19 mV is induced in the wind?
    A square, single-turn coil 0.27 m on a side is placed with its plane perpendicular to a constant magnetic field. An emf of 19 mV is induced in the winding when the area of the coil decreases at a rate of 0.06 m2/s. What is the magnitude of the magnetic field?

    What is the emf that this changing magnetic field induces in the conductor?
    A square conductor with 1.0 m sides is placed in the yz plane. The magnetic field in the area increases uniformly from 2î T to 10î T in 2.0 s at a constant rate. What is the emf that this changing magnetic field induces in the conductor?

    Thank you.

    Physics question regarding generators, emf and magnetic fields.?
    A generator uses a coil that has 160 turns and a 0.50-T magnetic field. The frequency of this generator is 60.0 Hz, and its emf has an rms value of 120 V. Assuming that each turn of the coil is a square (an approximation), determine the length of the wire from which the coil is made.

    just some thoughts: You know that Torque=I A x B where I is current and A cross section of the roatating part and B is magnetic field. now I=V/R and R is constant resistance.
    now torque is in direct relationship with rotation. So:
    1000rpm~95 B1 and 2500rpm~65 B2 you can easily find the ratio of B1 to B2, that’s how much you should change the magnetic field. BUT if you are asked to find the magnetic fields you must have R at least plus moment of inertia.

  7. Anonymous says:

    The induced emf = -N*A*deltaB/delta t so the emf induced emf = -1*(1m)^2*(10-2)T/2.0s = – 4.0V

  8. Anonymous says:

    (induced emf) = -(rate of change of magnetic flux)
    ξ = -dΦ/dt
    ξ = -B*dA/dt

    19e-3 V = -B*(-0.06 m^2/s)
    B = 0.32 T

    Sorry I made a mistake the last time..

    I read the question wrong … The reason there is no current in the loop is as folllows.

    Say the magnetic field is pointing straight up
    and the looop is a square

    two of the sides of the loop will be going same direction as the magnetic field and so will have zero current induced as the magnetic field has to be PERPENDICULAR TO the wire or have a component that is perpendicular to the wire.

    The other two sides of the wire will be perpendicular in this example..

    now since magnetic fields are vectors and the element of wire crossing the vector will go in one direction for THE BOTTOM WIRE and the other direction for the TOP wire ..

    This means that the CROSS product of dl x db will be OPPOSITE for each and
    therefore the currents will flow in DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS IN EACH ELEMENT ..

    TOTAL current = I1 + 12
    since I2 = -I1

    Total current = I1 – I1 = 0

    I hope that helps correct my mistake before and shows you why the answer is ZERO
