Taken literally, the term perpetual motion refers to movement that goes on forever. However, the term more commonly refers to any device or system that perpetually or indefinitely produces more energy than it actually consumes, thus, resulting to a net output of energy for an indefinite period of time.
A magnetic perpetual motion machine, therefore, is a device that utilizes the properties of a magnet to produce energy. Magnets have north and south poles which will attract and repel. The fundamental law of magnets is that opposite poles attract and like poles repel. This machine uses three magnets, one of which pulls the different sides of the other two. These repelling and attracting forces generate rotational motion inside an electric magnet motor, and will generate power without ever stopping. This machine can run up to 400 years, and we all know that no individual can live that long, thus, the term perpetual motion machine.
A magnetic perpetual motion machine is growing popular as an alternative for power source by converting energy into electricity. It is so powerful that it can power up to 7,000 watts. It can provide energy to an entire house, and can even produce more power than you will actually need.
Using magnets to produce energy may prove beneficial to mankind because it is cost-effective and it is eco-friendly. At present, the world is concerned about energy security, global warming, and fossil fuel depletion. The human population has grown to such a tremendous number and is still growing that soon, mankind will consume more and more energy than the earth can actually supply us with. There will come a time that this planet will no longer be able to sustain what we need in terms of power.
By using magnets to produce energy, we do not depend on fossil fuels. Thus, we are able to conserve those non-renewable energy sources, and we are able to preserve our planet as well.

if you can completely and perfectly avoid those things, then yes, the motion will be perpetual.
the problem is however that you cannot avoid those things, try as you might….

Is it possible to create a perpetual motion machine?
I was thinking about planet-sized machines. If you could make something big enough, would it have enough gravity and/or a magnetic field large enough to power a generating unit at it’s center?
Is Free energy possible and probable. Does any perpetual motion machines exist?
I have read about and seen machines that appear generate more useable energy than they consumer. Some are magnetic and produce electricity and or mechanical energy, some are wheels and some employ leverage and gravity. I see no real reason why some of these technologies can not be exploited. I mean are we really condemned to use only heat for a nonrenewable source to generate affordable energy althought, becoming unaffordable rapidly.?
Can you explain why thefollowing device doesn’t act as a perpetual motion machine?
it’s basically just a pendulum with two magnets. The magnets are placed so they attract the pendulum bob at the top o fits swing; however there is also some kind of shielding device which swings into place (and is also powered by the pendulum) as the pendulum bob reaches the top and thus cuts off the magnetic attraction. A link to an article explaining the fallacy would be ideal; it’s a common idea that many people have had.
perpetual motion machines my magnetism even in a frictionless vacuum region will not work.
first of all, energy is lost due to hysteresis. no need to concern about heat losses from friction.
and because of lenz’s law, any work you try to extract from the machine will lead to the slowdown of the machine because the magnet opposes its own movement.
perpetual machines dont work because there is a concept known as entropy, which is listed in the laws of thermodynamics. as long as these laws stand, perpetual machines exist only in the universe of the mind.

However, a constant magnetic field does no work because the force it exerts on a charged particle is always at right angles to its motion; a changing field can do work, but requires energy to sustain. A “fixed” magnet can do work, but energy is dissipated in the process, typically weakening the magnet’s strength over time. Thus, when a magnet does work by lifting an iron weight, potential energy is converted to kinetic energy. Once the iron hits the magnet its kinetic energy is converted to heat and sound. In order to release further energy, the iron must be moved away from the magnet. This converts the energy of your arm to potential energy again. Since the energy of parting the magnet and iron is identical to the energy released as the magnet and iron come together, no net energy can be gained by changing the iron – magnet distance.
Are all the perpetual motion machines on youtube fake?
Especially the magnetic ones. Some of them seem to work, are all of these fake?
Also, why don’t perpetual machines never work?
I want some good examples of a perpetual motion machine I have the answer.?
Magnetic force is the key simple but no has done it magnetic force repels to create rotation if applied right the force could be harnessed to create rotation this constant frictionless rotation could be used with simple coils for electricity. This would be perpetual motion no outside energy required its like using gravity
minimal outside or no outside help would be required. Give me ideas if you think your smart?

But just think for a moment…everything we know of is in perpetual motion (at least as long as matters in our lives)
1) The electrons of your body
2) Our earth around the sun
3) Molecules of water in the ocean
4) And on and on and on
My real challenge to all would be to find something that is not moving…including it’s parts…
So you are exactly right when you see no reason that the technologies can’t be exploited!
Energy is everywhere and abundant…you just have to find the best ways to tap into it (remember even a coal fire power plant is tapping into what used to be the energy of the sun).
