    Is there anyway to make a magnet turn itself?
    im trying to make a magnet generator, just enough to power a small light bulb, but i cant crank it, and not use a battery, HELP PLEASE!

    how do i how many times i should wrap copper wiring around and iron core to make a mini magnet generator?
    like the shake light coil that wraps around the spoil that the magnet goes through.

    How can I make an electric generator that does not use a permanent magnet?
    There are lots of places to find methods of making small generators that use permanent magnets, but I have always wondered how they do it when there aren’t any such magnets available.

    Large commercial generators do not have permanent magnets. The rotating field is magnetized via slip rings that feed current into it’s windings. The current is generated by the exciter which is either a small generator attached to the end of the shaft or, in modern applications, an electronic SCR converter.

    It will work, but after a period of time the magnets will become demagnetized and need to be “recharged” that’s where the energy comes from and most of the people promoting these things don’t mention it. You can’t get more (or even the same) energy out of a system than is put into it.
