Is there any REAL “zero point,overunity,cold fusion” or other type device?
What I am asking is, are there any devices or systems that come close to actually working? I know that no one could actually make money from such an invention because the establishment would not have it. It would give too much freedom back to individuals if we did not have to actually buy energy and could make ourselves. I know that there have been some breakthroughs in efficiency in some motors and other equipment, but has an actual device been presented and demonstrated anywhere? Please do not give me any “it isn’t possible, It is not real science, It is a hoax by UFO people” answers. Remember we could not fly, shoot rockets to the moon, talk to each other across the country or send emails just a short time ago in our history.

Look, nothing is impossible, there are only things that are unrealizable, usually because we don’t have the resources.

No. Overunity means its output power exceeds the input power.
Nothing has yet been created with a lower cost than oil at today’s prices. Cold Fusion has been experimented with, and when a University of Utah professor successfully demonstrated something close to cold fusion, it created a huge wave of international interest. His results, however, could never be duplicated. He did make millions for his school, himself, and his research assistants though, because people (investors, politicians, and others) have since poured billions into duplicating the results–all unsuccessfully. Don’t be fooled into believing no one would make money from such an invention–indeed, everyone would be thrilled to find any new source of power.
The best thing we have now is Fission reactors. They are terribly efficient–and they work–but no new fission reactor has been built in the United States since 1991. There are currently 110 operating nuclear power plants in the US, and they generate 99,673 megwatts of power–more than the entire US used from all sources (gasoline, coal, wood, hydro, etc.) in 1950.
Other breaking technologies are solar, wind, thermal, wave, bio-fuels, nano-structures, and all are being worked on. Of those, only wind power has truly gone into any reasonable amount of energy production. (Wind has just now become cheaper than burning natural gas, as the cost of natural gas has recently risen.)
Another promising not-yet-real technology would be pushing matter back and forth from this 3 dimensional plane into a 4th dimension. It is believed that could generate nearly limitless energy (albeit at the cost of whatever lives in that supposed 4th dimension, perhaps.)
New technologies will be found for our energy needs. These will be found because of the financial incentives to find them. Wouldn’t you like to be the guy who discovers the “better mousetrap?”
The secret is to make energy so expensive that finding a solution is better than paying for the energy. In the US, we can still drive to Taco Bell for a dime. Who cares? We’ll start to care when the trip to Taco Bell costs more than the taco.
Finally, as Jules Verne said in the 1800′s, “one day, we’ll find a way to tap the limitless energy available in the Hyrdogen of the seas.” One day. When our alternatives are too expensive.
The fact is, even at $3.00 a gallon, gas is cheaper than say, Milk. Even though Milk is a completely renewable resource, and holds a lot of energy.
energy IS free. the sun provides us with WAY more energy than we can ever use ( or harness for that matter)
however perpetual motion machines, or any closed system that doesn’t require any input of energy to operate do not exist.
as for your examples, this “overunity” engine is a gimmick, quite possibly a scam. by the dare i say, impossible, off chance that what they claim is true, we’ll find out in a year or so. and i’ll eat my words.
as for hydrogen fuel cell technology, its hardly “free energy”. while it is highly effecient and clean, the costs and logistics of mass production to fuel cars is far greater and far more complicated to bother with at its current stage of development, to compete with crude oil. and the energy derived from hydrogen fuel cells come from the chemical potential energy stored in chemical bonds, it doesn’t appear out of no where.
speaking of cars and fuel, unleaded regular gas prices just passed $4.70/gallon. and over $5/gallon for premium. how crazy is that.
