Understanding how to obtain solar energy For Home Use
Author: Donald Roman
Do you already know "Power Home 4 Free"?Are you thinking about drumming into solar energy for home needs? It would actually be a sensible choice, considering the cost of electricity today. Solar electricity for home use has been getting fairly popular mainly because of the Internet and availability of materials.
The designs have just been made and can be downloaded from sites off the Internet. All you want to do is gather the materials that you may purchase online or from DIY conglomerates or hardware stores in your area. If you know the way to make a screwdriver and a drill work, then you should do before building your arrays is to make certain you've got the space for it. You can either install them on the roof or in the yard of your house. The most important thing is to clear areas around your panels from obstructions so you can crop the sun's rays on a full cycle from sunrise to nightfall.
Another thing that you could find nice about using solar electricity for home usage is that it is a clean and renewable source of energy. This implies that it will not be exhausted and that it doesn't emit any harmful by-products that may add damage to the environment, unlike typical sources of energy we use today. Meaning that depending on your budget and wants, you can make panels to adjust to your requirements.
Let us say you need solar electricity for home appliances in the kitchen alone or simply in your room. You can build an array just for that. If you have chosen to be absolutely independent from the electric company, then you can build a massive array of cells or make them modular per area. This is to accommodate anything you might use between that isn't part of your regular usage.
If you made them yourself, the same production capacity would be much less than 0. But whichever option you select, it will still pay off in the future in comparison as compared to being connected up to your local electric company.
You can even maybe look at it from an investment point of view when you put up solar electricity for home needs, whereby if you generate excess for your requirements, you can sell it back to the electric company for them to be employed in other households within your area.

the sun reflects back off a parabolic panel heating the solution. and the system tracks the sun all day and auto resets for morning sun
There are state rebates and fed tax credits. In some areas there are small companies that help low income families get solar. A few companies have developed a lease program for the panels so the homeowner doesn’t need to put out the large initial payment, usually the payments equal the amount of energy you will save.
The now-defunct Clear Skies program still has a supplier list on their website here:

The new DTi Low Carbon Buildings program now has responsibility for the funding of Solar installations (there were grants available)

Solar energy can used in many ways. we can use this energy by putting solar panels in our houses and we can generate this energy like we have heard of things like solar geezer , solar cooker , solar lights etc. if we use solar energy in this way then we can also preserve our natural resources.
some uses for solar energy would be telling time with sun dial, cooking, pumping water, purifying water, heating water (pools), and to heat air.
Solar Energy is used mostly in places where there is a lot of sunlight. It is used in power plants in warm sunny climates, and on houses in around the same places. They are solar paneled houses which can be anywhere. Basically, solar energy can be found anywhere there is sunlight. It will work better with more sunlight though.
In NY I can get a DIY kit for about $6/watt, so a 10KW system, which is quite large, will cost $60,000. The utility gives me a $35,000 rebate, reducing the cost to $25,000. The state gives me a $5,000 tax credit, and the Fed gives me a $7,500 tax credit, so my final cost is $12,500.
That system in NY will produce 12,730 Kwh/yr or $2,800 worth of electricity, for a 4.5 year payback.
The point is, rebates and tax credits will dictate the cost much more than any “bargain” you may find.
