Well, we do have hybrid vehicles that use regeneration to get back some of the otherwised wasted energy when breaking. But please..do not get into th eperpetual motion thing . Any energy regenerated must be generated first by gasoline or electricity, which ultimately is supplied by fossil fuel. Dont get the impression that if you start a car moving with an electric motor and battery, and even mount a winmill device that spins as the car moves, trying to charge the battery…it wont work! If you put a windmill, or propeller device on a vehicle, and turn a generator trying to recharge the battery you are using to move the vehicle in the first place..you are wrong. Whatever energy you would be able to produce with the windmill attachment, would be used up by the battery due to the extra force needed to push teh vehicle forward and turn that winmill/generator. You would end up with a net loss of energy, not a gain, and actually discharge the cars battery faster!
Solar panels that would have any significant charging power, other than a minor trickle charge, would be so large and heavy, would probably end up a negative also, due to the added weight and loss of aerodynamics of the vehicle!

Talk to a company in the wind energy business about your requirements. Wind energy requires a lot of expertise in site selection, system selection and installation. Not to mention legal support. Your neighbors might not like it.

the basics things you will need are windmill blades and a generator. you probably know this anyway but i’ll tell you just in case. the wind turns the blades which are connected to the generator which generates electricity. you just connect this to the light bulb then and it will light.
you should be able to buy a small generator online but you know some old bicycles used to have small generators that touched the wheel and lighted the front light so you might be able to find one of them.

There are too many unknown variables to give an accurate answer to your questions. Just because a windmill generator can produce 50v at some level of wind speed doesn’t mean it can produce 25 watts of electrical power, which is the minimum you need to operate a lightbulb with a 50v filament… and good luck trying to find one of those!
But, let’s just suppose the windmill can produce a half ampere of current with a terminal voltage of fifty volts: that’s 25 watts, so it will be enough to power a 25watt lightbulb that operates from 50v. In other words, it would work.
As to which windmill turbine will power the most electricity, that depends on a whole bunch of other factors like minimum, maximum and average wind speed, area swept by the windmill blades, number of blades, pitch and rate of rotation of the blades, just to name a few of the things you need to consider. There is no one windmill design or windmill turbine that is suitable for all purposes and all locations.
Do some real research (crack a few books at the library, look at some real windmills on the Internet, ask a lot of questions after you find out what questions to ask) before you even think about a science project. When I did science projects in school, I always had a pretty good idea what the results would be from research I did before actually starting the project. That helps to prevent nasty surprises just before the project is due for submission and grading.
